Enfield "Mega Centre" — 17 Suez Road, EN3 7SN · ~96,000 sq ft · 40–50 ramps. Flow: intake review → cosmetic (SMART / paint / alloys) → 150-point MPI → road test → QC sign-off → valet → photos → advert. A car isn't stock until it's photographed and live.
RED. To hit 87.5% we need 399 more cars photographed (at today's stock level). Media team shot 315 cars in the last 7 days — roughly 1.3 weeks of pure photo output, but stock is refilling behind it. Every unphotographed car is a car we're paying stocking interest on that nobody can buy.
Mega Centre workshop (150-point MPI, service, tyres, MOT). Ramp maths: 4 mech-hrs/car × 2 shifts = 12 ramps to clear 1,000 cars/month — the constraint is parts & people, not ramps.
Bodyshop, alloys, SMART repair, valeting (~16 valeters). Philosophy: prep to fit age & mileage — never over-prep, that's how we stay cheaper than franchise dealers.
Enfield media team. Photos are the last gate before the advert goes live — 20+ images per car is the aged-stock standard. No photos, no advert, no leads.
The deep-dive diagnostics brain — turns a red pipeline card into a named blocker with an owner.
Quick-wins method: rank every In-Stock car by days-in-stage × stock value, take the top 50, and answer one question per car — what single thing releases it? Usually ~⅓ is a part on order, ~⅓ is a queue (ramp or camera), ~⅓ is nobody chased it. The third bucket is free money.
| Stage code | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Code Green | All sorted | Push to photos same day |
| Code Blue | In progress | Check parts ETA & labour award |
| Code Red | Danger / not completed | Controller escalation, daily stand-up |
Purchase → advert in days, not weeks. 48-hr prep SLA is the aged-stock playbook standard.
